Unlocking HTC phone

Seeing as this board is generally a great place for information, does anyone know any websites that allow you to unlock a HTC One phone? As far as I can see you just need an unlock code but there seems to be billions of websites offering codes if you pay them and I'm a tight arse!

I find Ebay to be the best bet for unlock codes at good prices. Not sure if there are any free sites that offer this service as I have never looked up unlocking a HTC One.
