Thread: Looking forward to tomorrow

  1. #1

    Looking forward to tomorrow

Improved form and performances in recent weeks.

    Fabio back

    Hopefully Marshall back too.

No pressure on us now and no traffic or queues at the bar or bogs 👍

After all the stress of previous years it'll be a nice change to relax.

Has anyone actually ever won 50/50? I heard a rumour that the draw is rigged and Ali spends it all on crisps and Irn Bru.

As I am , however the team is doing, I just about always look forward to the next game, whether it be to see the product that will eventually see the useless manager sacked or a positive result.

In fairness even in the darkest most dire moments you are upbeat about all things City.
Nothing wrong with that although I struggle to understand how you manage to keep it up!
Probably a nice balance against the default position of many of us that is "same old City".

Besides all this I've had enough reminders in the last few years that life is too short and if you don't get out and enjoy it then the chance won't come again.

    Re: Looking forward to tomorrow

One of the best things about Tuesday night was the atmosphere and support the crowd gave to the team from about 30 minutes on.

Ok it wasnt pretty football but there was plenty of effort there plus we were creating chances and causing Bmouth a lot of problems.

It shows even if crowds are around the 14000 mark next season if the team competes we can still generate a decent atmosphere.

The rose tinted brigade who look back to the 80s and 90s wont like this but the atmosphere on Tuesday was better than the vast majority of games at Ninian Park during that period.

Can you also believe we had a crowd of about 3000 for a home game v Middlesbrough in the mid 80s or 5 k for Bristol City at home at this level, with 1500 worsels here ?
