Thread: Ashley Williams

  1. #1

    Ashley Williams

"In the distinctly bread-and-butter categories of interceptions, clearances and blocks, Williams features in the top 3"

Have The Stats men been reading my posts?

No mention of any pace, tackling, or heading!!

In other news, James Collins MOTM again today.

    Coleman out.

I've been away for a few days, normal service is now resumed.

Let's get a Welshman to captain our country, not an England reject!

    Have some pride. # welshmenforwales

Is it because he's a jack you don't like him? If he was a bluebird would your status be different?

Were you saying the same thing when our "Zambian Prince" Robert Earnshaw represented Wales?

    Re: Ashley Williams

Looking forward to seeing Williams lead a team on Saturday that will hopefully pick up another postive result away from home, which will possibly contribute to us qualifying for a major tournament for the 1st time since 1958.

True. The point remains though, whilst he's playing for Wales and he's always shown full commitment to do so, Williams and any other Welsh player will have my full support.

    Re: Ashley Williams

He's committed to denying a Welshman the opportunity to play for/ captain their country, because he isn't good enough to play for his own.

    Welshmenforwales. Coleman Out.

As for Earnie, he's a different case, played through the Welsh juniors and U21's, and could have played for Zambia if he wanted to, but he chose Wales.

Williams has never had the choice, rejected by England, and took a back hander to play for Wales.

He's been great again this season...leading the Swans towards a possible 8th place finish, highest ever PL points total and 5th season in the top tier.

    Good for Welsh football.
