A midfielder who only attempted 1 tackle really?

Much more successful at avoiding making tackles and chasing shadows - 100% success at both.

Whitts is a Rolls Royce ploughing a field. Soul destroying, threading balls through to Doyle for him to kick it at someone's legs. Sorry but the crap he gets is laughable. Especially that shite in last night's echo. If he is packed off to satisfy the "kick it and run" brigade it will be a travesty. Dick heads.

I'm convinced we have enough decent footballers at the club to put in better performances than what we're actually witnessing ( apart from the 2 full backs brought in by Slade who will never do more than defend then hit aimless long balls down the line)

Hallelujah - it's not just me then thank god! Whitts is still the best footballer we have, he looks very forlorn but no doubt that's with having to put up with Slade's crap tactics. He's also playing too deep. If he went to another club they would be lauding his performances in a few games time ( as Connolly and Le Fondre are finding at their new clubs).

I've now finished my Cardiff City watching for this season and feel able to conclude that Slade either does not know what he is doing or cannot convince the players to do what he wants. Either way I can't see any option other than his leaving if we wish to progress.

Yeah, he's clearly skilful enough for the PL but doesn't have enough all round game to have made his career there.

I remember when we signed him some Villa fans who had watched him develop told me he is a fantastic player, but he's not right upstairs and he can't handle the mental side of the game. That has always stuck with me.

Our front line has invited too much pressure onto the midfield throughout the season and our midfield has been slow and mostly ineffective throughout the season, consider that Mason and Ralls are probably coming away with the most credit and you can see how bad it's been. After those two? Whitts, probably, is third most effective but it's not been a season he can be happy with either.
