Today (for the third time that I have seen this season) Dai Hunt was at the pitch side welcoming the players off the pitch after the warm up , meeting them as if they were long lost friends.
A few weeks ago he was set with Dalman in the directors box after they had walked along the pitch by the Grandstand
Any idea what the hell is going on ? - is Dai also doing the team talk and selection - perhaps ?
As after todays garbage it is looking by likely than unlikely

To be honest I have no problem with getting a fan involved and in the directors box etc.
Sure, Dai's a bit of a character, but have you read any of the other threads on this board?! We're all as screwed up as each other so why not him?
He bloody well loves the club for all he's worth (at least it seems that way) so he's as deserving as anyone else so get him involved and if he has some influence on management getting the supporters more involved in the club then good for him.
Personally I'd just love to see him doing the post match press conferences.

Dai Hunt was in the directors box has he was invited up for the last home game against Bolton which cancelled at the very last minute.
To be fair no other Cardiff board tenureship would have invited him.Gestures like this done get any air time though.

Perhaps they are getting a "normal" fan on board to try and get done insight into what the fans really want. Remember that episode of The Simpsons where Homer gets chosen to design the car that would appeal to Joe Public. The company went bust.

I think I can say this on behalf of everyone in the Ninian stand - we wish Dai every success in his new seat, hope you have a very long career in the Directors box - and to all those in the Grandstand - ear plugs and headache tablets are available in Asda
