Today (for the third time that I have seen this season) Dai Hunt was at the pitch side welcoming the players off the pitch after the warm up , meeting them as if they were long lost friends.
A few weeks ago he was set with Dalman in the directors box after they had walked along the pitch by the Grandstand
Any idea what the hell is going on ? - is Dai also doing the team talk and selection - perhaps ?
As after todays garbage it is looking by likely than unlikely

He's the brains behind the operation
he'll be on the board
a loony tune, a few slices short of a loaf but superb servant, only wish i had an ounce of his enthusiasm to keep going

He was in the directors box for the game today.
He's in there more frequently than Vincent Tan
To be honest I have no problem with getting a fan involved and in the directors box etc.
Sure, Dai's a bit of a character, but have you read any of the other threads on this board?! We're all as screwed up as each other so why not him?
He bloody well loves the club for all he's worth (at least it seems that way) so he's as deserving as anyone else so get him involved and if he has some influence on management getting the supporters more involved in the club then good for him.
Personally I'd just love to see him doing the post match press conferences.
Dai is being lined up to be our manager next season
Personally he would be alot more entertaining than Slade, and may at least give the players some encouragement.
It was so bad today that giving Dai a go would have been worth losing 3 nil
I can just picture Dai on the touchline 😃
I bet Ankles is jealous

Say what you want about Dai, but If those overpaid primadonnas had a fraction of his passion, we'd be pushing for promotion.
Never mind sticking him in the directors box, stick him in the dugout, he's got more idea than the two clowns that currently reside there
Dai Hunt was in the directors box has he was invited up for the last home game against Bolton which cancelled at the very last minute.
To be fair no other Cardiff board tenureship would have invited him.Gestures like this done get any air time though.
Is he the fan selected to sit in on the board meetings. ?
Unlike Gwyn who represents himself, Dai is even incapable of doing that.
I was walking next to him on one of the marches.
He started a chant of "slitty eyes, slitty eyes, slitty eyes "....no one joined in.
****ing bizarre club, ****ing bizarre

Perhaps they are getting a "normal" fan on board to try and get done insight into what the fans really want. Remember that episode of The Simpsons where Homer gets chosen to design the car that would appeal to Joe Public. The company went bust.

Personally I'd much rather see DH get some reward for his decades of enthusiastic support than see one iota of recognition shown toward .. well ..y'all know the names.Originally Posted by ElyBlueAJ wrote on Sun, 19 April 2015 15:00
I think I can say this on behalf of everyone in the Ninian stand - we wish Dai every success in his new seat, hope you have a very long career in the Directors box - and to all those in the Grandstand - ear plugs and headache tablets are available in Asda
