Should of put it in rice and left it 48hrs, still might be worth a try.

i have a macbook air and a spot of water dripped onto the keys earlier today, the water was only minimal and was dried off straight away however it seems my power button is now jammed due to this water damage as my macbook keeps turning off and bringing up the menu of sleep restart shut down etc. Just wondering if anyone has past experience of fixing this or knows a way how to or just knows how much it will cost to repair. as i said the water spilt on it was minimal and the laptop works absolutely fine but it has seemed to make an impact on the power button sadly. cheers

You might be lucky, however of the motherboard is fubar it might be worth checking if your house insurance covers it as the cost of replacing the board can be more than a new machine
I tipped a whole cup of water over mine a few years back.
I immediately tipped it upside down, and open. Left it like that for 24 hours, switched on and all was well. Still working perfectly to this day, god knows how.
Thinly veiled 'I have a macbook air' posts imo
