Forest used to play on a recreation park called The Forest, hence their name. When they relocated to better premises it was across the river Trent, technically no longer in the city, so ironically the County side played at Meadow Lane the city side of the Trent.

Bluebird born and bred in Nottingham, watching Forest as a little girl, but 45 years in Cardiff now,so City is my team.
