When I was being taught political ideologies in University, the tutor did not include Conservatism in the course - and he explained that the reason he did not do so was because in his view it does not count as a coherent political ideology. He may have a point but when I taught the a similar course later (many times) I did include it. But it was always 'the straw man'.

The Labour Party haven't won a General Election for 10 years.

Neither will win this General Election.

When the current older generation pass on and are replaced by the younger generation, I think we will see an even bigger shift in the political landscape.

Not getting any better is it? And all because we know that whoever we vote for, fundamental things such as child poverty, poor working conditions, weak union/worker power enshrined in law, the huge redistribution of wealth from poor to rich, and so many other things that we don't want - will not go away, no matter who we vote for. Anyone who has lived more than a generation will know this.

If any party had the peoples interests first and not just a certain percentage of the population we could be an amazing nation,if any party are thinking of the country as a whole why such a difference in their policies

Not getting any better is it? Anyone who has lived more than a generation will know this.

I remember that Tory maxim they used in the first Thatcher election campaign, I think it was that one. 'Labour isn't working' it said with pictures of people in dole queues.

It will only come from the grass roots and the current system needs to be swept away. The only trouble is nobody seems capable of organising it.

It's possible that the Tories and ukip will get a combined majority in the popular vote.

Not happy but I would grudgingly accept it
