Last night there were quite a few Portillo moments
Ive had the radio on most of the day but havent anything from these :-
Ed Balls - hasnt had the balls to be seen anywhere today
Vince Cable (I liked him) also silent
Charles (mines a double) Kennedy
Simon Hughes (I liked him to)
Douglas Alexander - not a peep out of him today
David Laws
Ed Davey
Anas Sarwar
George Galloway
Feck me you are a real piece of filth. Revelling in someones misery.
how is that revelling? all he has done is ask a question. you come across as one bitter man Mick. face it, the UK doesn't want socialism. centre right politics is here to stay for the next five years. some of it will be good for the UK, some of it not so good.Originally Posted by Mick the Miller wrote on Fri, 08 May 2015 15:49
Since I am now, politically speaking, about as important as these people are now should I do a statement too?Originally Posted by Jimmy Jimmy wrote on Fri, 08 May 2015 15:36

Balls did make a speech straight after his defeat. He came across very well and was pretty gracious in defeat.
I found myself actually feeling sorry for him. He looked gutted in all honesty .
saw that, guy seemed devastated but was gracious as wellOriginally Posted by TruBlue wrote on Fri, 08 May 2015 16:39
He spoke well and was obviously bitterly disappointed and somewhat upset.Originally Posted by packerman wrote on Fri, 08 May 2015 16:40
I'm on hunger strike until I hear David Laws statement.
Turn you down on the sparkling mineral water , tap will have to do.Originally Posted by Croesy Blue wrote on Fri, 08 May 2015 16:42

The post is factually incorrect anyway. Most (if not all) will have given some sort of speech just after the results were announced. The BBC even has a section on their website where you can read most of them. I imagine most of them are catching up on sleep an reacquainting themselves with their wives/husbands and kids.Originally Posted by Eric Cartman wrote on Fri, 08 May 2015 15:56
Simon Hughes was on Andrew Neil's comfy chair about an hour ago holding back his tears.Originally Posted by Optimistic Nick wrote on Fri, 08 May 2015 16:48
I think a lot of them may've been at the VE celebrations in the afternoon as well.Originally Posted by jon1959 wrote on Fri, 08 May 2015 16:51
Dicks. Did they not realise that Jimmy wanted them to dance for him?Originally Posted by TruBlue wrote on Fri, 08 May 2015 16:53
What about Esther McVey Jimmy? You forgot to mention her didn't you?
There are plenty of Portillo moments in each election. I notice that Simon Hughes and Jim Murphy have given very thoughtful interviews today.
Havent seen or heard anything from Balls or Cable though. Shame as I liked Cable as being a straight talker and would liked him to have stayed in power - as I would have preferred to keep the coalition as it was - it seemed a nice blend.
As for you Mick - dont worry yourself petal.
Pearcey - I forgot McVey but I just googled the main ones and that was the list that came up. Here is a video though from the LiverPool Echo so you can watch (in their words) Watch the moment Esther McVey lost her seat in Wirral West
Bet you like snuff movies too jimmy.
I just listen to the Balls speech on 5live - they then had a woman on straight after that said good riddance to him - which I thought was a bit below the belt
Nick , like Pearcey and the bully seem to be very very bad tempered. Ive seen a few on the bbc iplayer now - but as said only a few have fronted up today
I think Charlie Kennedy is still on the p1ss somewhere.
(ps - I dont believe for 1 second Thick Mick shed a tear over the Farrage result or even when Portillo was hoofed out, he was happy when Thatcher died, yet Ed Balls gets dumped on his backside - and he's a wibbling wreck full of emotion - strange man )
Take up knitting jimmy and grab a seat close to the Guillotine.Originally Posted by Jimmy Jimmy wrote on Fri, 08 May 2015 1Guillotineck , like Pearcey pathologicy seem to be very very bad tempered. Ive seen a few on the bbc iplayer now - but as said only a few have fronted up [u
