    Canton Sports Bar suspended licence

    I hear Canton Sports Bar had its licence suspended today for 10 weeks.

    Landlord/manager removed with immediate effect.

    All licenced regulated entertainment removed from licence and more conditions imposed on the licence you're gonna need an enhanced CRB and the rubber glove treatment to get half a shandy in there.

    They can appeal of course.

    Dave, one of the landlords, was one of the ones that went down in that big drug bust recently. Probably had something to do with that.

    I'm mates with Dave's two lads so we used to spend some time in there before and after games when he first got it up and running. It always attracted a slightly more rough and ready type of clientele!

    she's always busy keeping the place free of glasses and litter and from my view she was trying to keep it a decent place.
