Did he play for Cardiff ?
No, which makes him as about effective for us as Robin Friday was for most of his Cardiff City career.Originally Posted by Forest Green Bluebird wrote on Sun, 24 May 2015 20:20
Away to Millwall, there's around 250 of us on the terrace taking a right old battering. During one of the brief lulls in the action I managed to get a look at what was going on the pitch. The game was carrying on much as usual, apart from Robin Friday who'd was standing on the byline watching the mayhem on the terrace.Originally Posted by Enoch Mort wrote on Sun, 24 May 2015 20:38

It is a matter of fact that, during the 11 months he was a Cardiff City player, he missed more games than he played in.Originally Posted by Forest Green Bluebird wrote on Sun, 24 May 2015 21:00
A mate of mine who was on the books with the City as an apprentice, told me that one day when Robin had been off sick for 3 weeks, one of the clubs hierachy Jimmy Goldstone was sitting in the back of his Roller being driven home when during a stop in the traffic, who did he see laying fresh tar on the road with a load of pikeys? but Mr Friday himself.
