Hamilton was 19.5 seconds clear before the Verstappen incident that brought out the safety car. He was lapping in the low 1.19s compared to Rosberg who was 0.7 secs slower per lap.

Hamilton's tyres were easily able to reach the finish - he was robbed by a very poor call from his team. He should be leading the Championship by 27 points today with his second Monaco winners' trophy - but a cock up by Paddy Lowe, Toto Wolff or whoever has handed the victory to his major Championship rival and cut his lead to 10 points.

I watch the race with the live timings open, and he had that in the bag. Should be 27 points and a Monaco trophy. I'd be gutted.

Just proves that it is all about the car and not about the drivers , Button and Alonso both are known as top drivers but because their car is shit you find them both down the bottom. If you swapped Hamilton and put him in the McLaren and Alonso in the Mercedes he'd either be 1st or 2nd and Hamilton would quite possibly be sitting on 0 , Its all a load of shit.

Can't stand F1 and I equally can't stand Hamilton, I saw him on SSN acting like a baby because the race didn't go his way. Hope Rosberg wins the title, as Hamilton would hate to lose to him more than any other driver.
