I like it. I do t doubt a lot of it is scripted, planned, staged whatever, but I don't care. If I want some education I'll read a book or watch a documentary, it's TV, main purpose to be entertaining. I usually sky+ the show and whizz through the ads, the sob stories etc and just watch the acts.
I thought the choir was excellent tonight.

anybody watching these shows are promoting Cowell and his karaoke following, not everybody can afford to go out looking at new talent performing i acknowledge but, there seems to be a lot of people wanting to just sit down, switch the TV on and not move for 4 hours unless its for a piss, another can or another fag and watch soaps, karaoke, or so called reality shows which people just have to be outrageous to get recognition apparantly!!.
I spend far too much time on weekends watching washed out mucisians playing washed out songs, this is going to change!!!!!!. In addition to finding a new mainstream band, it's my new years summer resolution.!!!!!!

I don't watch any of it very often, but a friend of mine has some inside knowledge of the show.

And they conveniently forget to mention it when they plant a backing singer signed to Simon Cowell`s own record label in the show and he pretends to not know them or how they got onto the show.
