Another post on here got me thinking tonight...what are the best trips that everyone has been on? I.e. a particularly stunning or interesting place or just an adventurous trip?
What would you recommend to others?
*Swansea doesn't count as an answer.

Yusawa islands? I enjoyed it but it was quite touristy. Agree on it being stunning.Originally Posted by Kiffa wrote on Mon, 25 May 2015 23:39
Vegas. Obviously it's touristy but amazing place. I suppose it depends how old you are and what you're after.
Islands are a bit touristy, I found the main island the most interesting people wiseOriginally Posted by bryndon2 wrote on Mon, 25 May 2015 23:42
Room for all sorts of experiences. Vegas is just a crazy place - it looks tiny among the desert when coming in to land on the plane and then suddenly everything is massive.Originally Posted by TruBlue wrote on Mon, 25 May 2015 23:52
I was on the islands for most of the trip but remember having a few interesting wanders on the mainland. Nadi Bay.Originally Posted by Kiffa wrote on Mon, 25 May 2015 23:54
Nadi bay is still quite touristy as it's the place where all the boats go from. The main island has a lot to offer if you are lucky enough to ever go againOriginally Posted by bryndon2 wrote on Mon, 25 May 2015 23:57

Don't blow your nose when in company in Japan.
Because of the nature of my job I have been on a number of Cultural Awareness courses in order to understand what is good etiquette around the world but it's something that I was interested in before I worked where I now do.

One of the best holidays I have ever experienced.Originally Posted by TH63 wrote on Tue, 26 May 2015 00:54
Lived on the west coast of Canada in a place called Whistler. Most incredible country I've ever seen and a lot of people would not ever consider visiting for a holiday!
Canada is unquestionably beautiful, but I'm not sure why you think people wouldn't consider visiting it? Whistler itself is one of the world's most famous ski resorts, it surely gets loads of tourists?!Originally Posted by Bluebird222 wrote on Tue, 26 May 2015 11:14
Yeah we got loads of tourists, mainly US or Aus tourists. I didn't mean it negatively. I just think Canada is well down on the list of countries people think about visiting when personally it would be one of the first to pop into my head when you consider mainly same language, low crime, low population, beauty and for the first time in ages the Canadian dollar is really weak so get a great exchange rate!Originally Posted by Optimistic Nick wrote on Tue, 26 May 2015 11:26
I misread your thread title and thought you meant tipsOriginally Posted by Taunton Blue Genie wrote on Tue, 26 May 2015 05:31
Not a where to go tip, but a what to do tip.
And that's to take half the clothes and twice the money you think you'll need.
Oooh, sounds like you know how to have fun on holiday.Originally Posted by Banc Blue wrote on Tue, 26 May 2015 11:53
