How many instruments has she mastered ?

By that definition she is therefore important although, for all I know, she may not be much of a musician. Perhaps she is just an important musical figure ? Still, if she keeps practising she will become a better musician even though her "importance" may fade .

Her songs are liked by most people, if not liked then enjoyed. Not many artists can do that. And have a career in pop when she comes from a country background. A modern day madonna with a bit more class.

Got to admit, Shake it off and Blank Space are quality songs.

It seems she writes, performs, plays geetar, acts etc ..

Also seems that she was very driven to be a Country Performer from an early age. Quite impressive determination TBH.

I wouldn't say she's necessarily important, not in terms of her music anyway. She's an important role model to young female artists. And she's obviously very talented.

The industry seems to have sucked the life out of her. Similar to Avril Lavigne. Could play a couple of instruments and write her own songs, now she is just another music industry whore dancing around in her underwear.
