and he would move to us because.......?!
even if he did he's bound to look half the player he was, score 2 or 3 scruffy goals by xmas and be shipped off on loan anyway

WalesOnline understands Cardiff City boss Russell Slade is considering a bid for Murphy after he netted 27 goals for Ipswich last season
and he would move to us because.......?!
even if he did he's bound to look half the player he was, score 2 or 3 scruffy goals by xmas and be shipped off on loan anyway
Firstly, would Ipswich really sell him to another championship club unless it was for a ridiculously high fee? Secondly, why on earth would he want to sign for us unless we'd offer him daft wages? Which having seen the cost cutting for the second half of last season, I doubt very much.
A non story really.
I would much rather us go for young, hungry players with something to prove.Originally Posted by Stavross CCFC wrote on Tue, 26 May 2015 12:08
We don't need him. We have Revel and Doyle.
we'd stand a better chance with Bodie and DoyleOriginally Posted by Pug wrote on Tue, 26 May 2015 12:39
Wont happen thoughOriginally Posted by Enoch Mort wrote on Tue, 26 May 2015 12:06
£4 million
I can't decide whether this would be a smart or stupid signing.
His age and probable cost would make it stupid.
His finishing ability, work-ethic and strength would be useful.
Mason/Doyle & Murphy would definitely work well.
Where's that mentioned?Originally Posted by SunderlandBluebird wrote on Tue, 26 May 2015 13:18
I'd go for them, real Professionals.Originally Posted by Michael Morris wrote on Tue, 26 May 2015 12:47
Been impressed by Murphy.
One of the best target men in the Championship.
Didn't look like age was an issue last season, so would be happy for us to sign him.
As long as he scores goals. If we sign him we would start the season with two strikers that scored that scored a combined total of 54 goals last season.
All we have to do is get the bloody ball to them.
Ipswich fans think this is total bollox
But it's true! If we get the ball to them they will score goals I don't care what the Ipswich fans think.
We could have Messi and Suarez up front and we would not score many goals with the service our midfield provides.

I'm guessing it's WalesOnline silly season where they just make stuff up with no facts in the stories?
Is this what we can look forward to? 32 players and lower division players. I can't see Ipswich let him go, there probably good old laugh.
