But Gunter, Ledley, Ramsey and Bale are all former players who have gone on to better things.Originally Posted by tigerbaybluebird wrote on Tue, 26 May 2015 12:13
You forgot Ashley/Jazz Richards in your list.Originally Posted by lardy wrote on Tue, 26 May 2015 12:16

Good to have Andy King back.
We can't play the 5-3-2 formation that's been popular during this campaign as Ben Davies and James Collins are both out.
Hennessey
Gunter Chester Williams Taylor
Allen Ledley
Bale Ramsey HRK
Vokes
That's a probable XI but who knows.
You sure about Bale? I've heard he's having a bad season over in Spain.Originally Posted by Zenith wrote on Tue, 26 May 2015 12:52
That's because he's playing out of postion. Bale is a left back.Originally Posted by Colonel Cærdiffi wrote on Tue, 26 May 2015 14:01

No, he's living in Glasgow now.Originally Posted by Zenith wrote on Tue, 26 May 2015 12:48
Don't expect an attacking line up...we're playing 3rd in the world.
What's wrong with the Ginger Monster? I saw him in the gym the other day, seemed ok.
They'll be 2nd after next weeks rankings and when the game is played. Have we ever beaten anyone that high in the rankings in the competitive match ?Originally Posted by kendoddsdadsdogsdead wrote on Tue, 26 May 2015 15:56
Wales squad to face the Bluebirds.
As long as Rambo gets through the Cup final unscathed we will have a very strong side. I think Coleman may play five in midfield and go with....
Hennessey
Gunter Williams. Chester. Taylor
Bale. King. Allen. Ramsey. Ledley
Vokes or HRK
Don't mention Rambo and the FA Cup Final on here for Christ's sake!Originally Posted by Pearcey wrote on Tue, 26 May 2015 18:08
How long are we looking before Jonny and George Williams are fit again? Are they likely to make Cyprus?
Belgium have a friendly in France on the 6th. ..fingers crossed.
If they existed then, our win over West Germany in 91? About a year after they won the WC so couldn't have dropped that far from the top.Originally Posted by epping blue wrote on Tue, 26 May 2015 16:48
Good shout...they were Germany by then...unbeaten in 18 games and undoubtedly no.1 in the world.
The rankings started at the end of 92 but I think they would have been considered around the best at that time. Italy were around 6th when we beat them. Belgium's ranking of 2nd is a bit false though in my opinion and they'll probably fall a good bit in July as their brilliant world cup counts for less.Originally Posted by lardy wrote on Wed, 27 May 2015 06:53
When we beat Germany 1-0 in 2002, they were 4th.
Friendly match though?
