More news on NY Times website.

Arrests have been made of several on FIFA Executive committee.

Eduard Li of Costa Rica is one.

Others implicated though not necessarily arrested include Jeffrey Webb of the Cayman Islands, Eduardo Figueredo from Uruguay and Jack Warner of Trinidad and Tobago.

Blatter seemingly not involved at this stage, but should make Friday's election interesting

Hopefully, this will be the start of the end for FIFA. Football needs to be knocked down a peg or ten, hopefully this will be the start.

After the initial annoyance of the Qatar world cup the idea of a winter world cup is growing on me, added to that the league will have to be extended so likely we'll get to watch football over here in the warmer weather a bit more.

I'm so glad Wales have been boycotting FIFA all these years by refusing to qualify for their tournaments.
    That'll teach them.

Last year Blatter said he was saddened that people were accusing FIFA of fixing the Qatar vote. He blamed it on discrimination and racism that people would even question it.

The man is probably one of the most hated people on the planet and where is he right now?

Seems that some people have been saying that FIFA corruption was football's worse kept secret.
