No, but my wife has bought some shoes from his brothers shop if that helps.

Vincent Tan sings Ken Choo's praises. Now, you may think that he was bound to say that, but maybe our owner has a point. On the face of it, Mr Choo appears to be a safer pair of hands than his predecessor and I reckon he gained a bit of kudos when he sat with City fans for the game at Wigan. I'm not saying that we'll ever be singing his name at matches or anything, but perhaps we've got a CEO or whatever he's called these days who is pretty good at his job - maybe there'll be people on here who can show I've got him completely wrong, but I feel much more confident about him than I ever did about Simon Lim.

If Tan also rates him as Chief Executive (especially after the Simon Lim era), then maybe we will have some continuity and stability in the club. That is good.Originally Posted by the other bob wilson wrote on Wed, 27 May 2015 16:57

Aww! Thanks Croesy! it's good of you to care.
Indeed, yes I will take care. Thanks again. Appreciated.
Apparently Tan takes a lot of notice of what Ken Choo says and respects him.
If he listens to fans and passed this on then he may well be the reason that recent decisions ref colours, badge and season ticket prices have been more in fans favour.
Pity that the response from fans has been to desert in droves.
Just hope a decent start to next year brings people back, or we might be seeing another change.
I spoke to him at Wigan my first impression was he seemed an intelligent approachable man , my only reservation was every time someone mentions his name I always think Bless You !!
Always a pleasure, never a chore Vimmy.Originally Posted by Vimana. wrote on Wed, 27 May 2015 18:24
No doubt he has the bug, he was bouncing. My first impression, harsh and unfair, , was that he came across as not being A CEO, anything but, however we do seem to be in calmer waters than we have been for a very long time and there is an emerging connection and values between club and fans. Too late for many it seems but better late than never. I suspect Choo has much to do with this so good on him.Originally Posted by the other bob wilson wrote on Wed, 27 May 2015 16:57
Ken seems keen.
He seems keen on the football - and keen to apparently be doing the right thing.
Is it a coincidence that there have been more encouraging signs from the 'top' since Ken got involved?
Ken Choo replaced Simon Lim on 9 June 2014. The club has made some brilliant signings since then....

Yay !! A bit of positivity! (Apart from Dave McSpiderman of course), WE'RE GOING UP AS ****ING CHAMPIONS!!!!
I'm sure we had "Dalman isn't bad" posts too, and look how those turned out. It's going to take a lot of time for any of Tan's appointments to be rated seeing as nearly everything he does leads to disaster.
I am hoping the break will remove some of the negativity I felt at the tale end of last season , I will come back to a smaller tighter group of supporters and Tan will stay well away ,hopefully the Choo man can lead us in a more positive way.Originally Posted by Lawnmower wrote on Wed, 27 May 2015 18:57
