A trip down memory lane for those old enough to remember the 1970's

    1970's chocolate bars https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jg9I0a6f0N4

Golden Cup, Bar Six, 2p for a Milky Way, Swisskit (anyone else remember the advert with the slogan, "I'll risk it for a Swiss Kit"?, my personal favourite; 'Tiffin' , Golden Crisp.

Looking at that, life as a kid seemed to revolve around footie and trips to the sweet shop.

    1970's sweets and crisps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlGwBj2Fv3c

Pacers (they were yummy), all those Smiths horror bags were very popular, Bazooka Joe bubble gum (save 10,000 vouchers for a pair of x-ray specs - could you even get any of that stuff living in Britain??), Mackintosh's before they were taken over by Nestle, Slade on a packet of crisps!, the brilliant Chipsticks, and Rowntrees Jelly Tots - are Rowntrees still going ?

I also remember getting white mice, Black Jacks and Fruit Salads for, I think, two for a ha'penny in a little paper bag.

    Happy days.

Used to love the 'Golden Cup'. Of course, nowadays it can mean something completely different.

A packet of 5 Park Drive ciggies for 1 shilling (5p). Harry Jennings shop on Wilson road would open a packet of Sovereign and sell them individually to us kids, I had a serious smoking habit by the age of nine.

Same as the shop near Heol Hir. 3 woodbines in the silver foil too. Remember Llandaff fields but we always used to use the Knap.

Porn mags with full frontal nudity and a couple of years later Mr. Sullivan had " Whitehouse "
showing rampant hard ons and the odd penetration shot.
    RIP Mary Millington.
