    The club say"we will consider any offer on its merits but we wont let players go for less than their worth" ...... hilarious!!!

    Way too low, season long loan was the best option if we could. Would do a job in the championship for us not sure about prem standard but look at what other strikers are being sold for! How much did we pay for Doyle and Revell?

    Revell was out of contract at the end of the season and a nominal fee
    Doyle was prolific in a division below us.

    Gestede was a much maligned bit part player in a side moving onwards and upwards. Don't get confused with what happened in the resulting years.

    He was not seen as adequate and moved on as the club brought in players for the premiership the fact that was Acorn is irrelevant £200k was about right

    Wasn't his contract up in the summer so a season long loan would have been giving him away for free.
