Thread: Disabled but fit for work? - Make a will

Disabled but fit for work? - Make a will

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-34074557

I know this will split the board almost as much as a red shirt, but 2,300 people dying after being declared fit is astonishing.

Re: Disabled but fit for work? - Make a will

Not one single person who posts on this board could possibly have anything but disgust for the action of the evil, evil Tories.

Re: Disabled but fit for work? - Make a will

They're rotten to the core, how anyone voted for them is beyond me.

    Enemy of the people.

Is there a direct correlation or are these people who would have died anyway? Has anyone of working age died since 2011 or is death whilst of working age just limited to those who have been assessed by the DWP?

Fit people don't die in such large numbers. I hope that helps.

I am not saying there may be some merit on the claim, but the evidence presented so far doesn't suggest amy correlation.

2000 out of a population of what? Hoe many died in the population as a whole?
Die from what? Being ill? If they are ill they will be signed off as not fit for work by their doctor and/or specialist. It is this category who have died in such large numbers after being declared fit for work by the DWP.

People of working age who are fit for work and die would not normally be expected to die from a known illness.

Callous and disgusting. Demonizing the weakest in our society. If only this rotten Government were as zealous in dealing with tax avoidance.

One can only hope that you don't end up on your deathbed with people saying there is nothing wrong with you and that you are a skiver. Imagine the indignity of that as you take your last mortal breath.

We're they on their deathbed when assessed? Or are you resorting to your usual hyperbole?
