    Districts of Cardiff

Manchester has the Northern Quarter, London has the likes of Hoxton and possibly many others.

What is or is becoming the coolest area of Cardiff? Food culture, craft beer bars, smaller music venues (Hip, trendy, alternative....you get the picture)

Should have added as 'a place to live' as well - sorry. Grangetown, Adamsdown or Splott maybe haven't been on the radar but could they be?

There is that area off Newport road by Partridge Road / Wordsworth Avenue - that pretty nice - only a short walk to city road / albany road area.

Other than that Pontcanna or Whitchurch I guess

If it had a hand car wash and a Roosters chicken outlet it would be perfect.

I think a city London has a larger transient population to make once undesirable areas become desirable.

Most people from Adamsdown, Ely and St Mellons aren't budging anywhere.

I moved from Fairwater to Adamsdown due to the type of people living in Fairwater.

I'd agree if L North had a couple of Indian and Chinese takeaways, a Co-op and the occasional Farmers' Market. The Car Park is very convenient too.

I drove up Rumney hill for the first time in years the other day and they've knocked down the Carpenters Arms and put up a Sainsburys!

They also knocked down the Good Companions and built a library. I should have written to my MP, the brawls in the library are nowhere near as good.
