Stone roses new album / tour

with Lemon posters appearing around manchester, are we in for the 3rd album ? ? ? ? a new tour ? ? ?

I guess a new Album would bring a worldwide tour anyways

I'd be happy with a new album, probably give any live dates a miss though.
Saw them 4 times first time around and they were never that good a live band, good occasions but not great gigs.

I've seen them once or twice. As has been said it was always about the occasion and not necessarily browns live singing.

There will be an announcement in the next 24 hours.

I'm torn on this. I would agree with you, they are a band you just MUST see live (and I never have) , but the once I saw Ian Brown live it's hard to describe just how bad he was, so I don't want to spend a bloody fortune on a crap gig. I spent the 90s doing that.

Never bothered with them, in recent years have become more appreciative of their work, not sure I'd travel to see them but if a gig circa 30 miles of Cardiff then, id prolly make an attempt at getting a ticket, excellent musicians (I think!!)

    New album eh?
Who would have ever thought it just a few years back.

I can't even imagine new 'Roses material.
    Hope they do themselves justice.

    Sludge

I think it's more about a few 40 and 50 something ravers getting their old flares and Joe bloggs out and having a dance whilst at the same time showing the younger generation what it was all about.
