Seems Burton have given permission for Jimmy to speak to QPR.
He's taken Burton to the top of League 1 after getting them promoted last season from League 2.
He's seems to be a very good manager. Is Q.P.R. the right club though?
Surely a former club of his, with plenty of potential and based in glorious South Wales would be a better option?

Michael, can you imagine him getting along with a certain Mr Tan?
That is nonsense.Originally Posted by Cleve van Leef wrote on Wed, 02 December 2015 14:10
It's more than nonsense as success is the only possible way Tan will get his money back.Originally Posted by James The Scot wrote on Wed, 02 December 2015 14:14
He may well prefer to come to South Wales but there is no vacancy at the moment and no likelihood in the near future. Slade was brought in to do a job on the size of the Squad, and the wage bill. He has done both without any obvious complaint whilst at the same time having us currently 2 points outside the play offs.
I entirely understand the arguments re quality of play, tactical nous or lack of it and entertainment value. However, truth is that Tan is probably very satisfied with his appointment at present. Additionally, what prospective Manager would want to come in to work under the conditions that Slade is currently?
You are quite right. All the signs are there that promotion and a successful side is on the horizon.Originally Posted by Wrong Side of the Severn wrote on Wed, 02 December 2015 15:03
Why would anyone prefer to come to South Wales instead of London?
if you're tired of London then youre tired of life.
Tony Fernandes is the polar opposite to Tan. I know which one id prefer to work for.

He made a big thing of Burton being a good club to start his managerial career at (pointing specifically to the training facilities they are permitted to use) so what do QPR offer? Apart from a London location there must be tens of other clubs which would be a more attractive bet, though unfortunately we are unlikely to be one of them at current time.
He should stay at Burton and get them promoted again imo
In Jirga absence we now have polo.Originally Posted by Polo Di Canio wrote on Wed, 02 December 2015 15:36
