Phew Xmas has gone back to normal.

C'mon England ,pity Anderson is out its his type of wicket , big game for England as we do need to be able to perform without him at some point

    Re: Cricket back tomorrow

It'll be tough without ,Anderson I'd take a draw now butt unlikely in modern day test cricket

How can a side represent English and Welsh cricket and be called England?

Doesn't particularly bother me, even though I would prefer it to be named properly.

I just find it amazing how Welshmen can so happily say 'C'mon England'.
And to add to it, how embarrassing was it when the ashes was here, having posters all around town saying 'We are England'... shameful

90% of Welsh football fans support English clubs when they have got their own to support- now THAT is weird

We have our own side, they just arent as good. Perhaps if people wanted to see Wales play test cricket, instead of test cricket being played in Wales then we'd have a chance of getting there. Ireland gave it a go, and they're pretty much there now. Scotland wont be far behind either. Shame us Welsh have no self-pride eh?

Given we don't have our own side and a part of England when it comes to cricket it's no big deal.

So as things stand I will continue to follow England cricket, and I can tell you something , it's got nothing to do with a lack of pride in being Welsh.

    I'm up and ready
Kingsmead is a proper old fashion ground.
Would love to go there one day for a test match.

Its a matter of choice , like following your favourite band or watching your chosen film or TV series , I know loads of welsh footy fans who are very anti English, but support English premiership clubs,as I previously said c,mon England

I'm not sure people quite get this.
Although I would say the vast majority are good as gold.

    Re: Cricket back tomorrow

Typical, all the angst about who should partner Cook and he goes for a duck.
Weather forecast looks ok towards the later part of the day and then good for the remaining 4 potential days.
Could be a very tight series this one although South Africa start as clear favourites but with question marks surrounding the team. England, God only knows what to expect but I wish they had gone with Finn once Anderson was ruled out.

Finn is playing, along with Woakes as Wood is also out

    Re: Cricket back tomorrow

Excellent, as I really like Finn.
Didn't realise that Wood was out as well.
Will try to concentrate a bit more as I set of for MK shortly.

I'd like to be proved because, if he came off, Hales would give England the consistent, attacking opener that they've not had since Marcus Trescothick, but I think he'll just become another in the long list of recent failures in that position.
