Thread: Asda car park today.

  1. #1

    Asda car park today.

Assuming Asda is only open between 10 and 4 today like most of the big supermarkets are on a Sunday, I reckon this is the first game played at the new stadium that takes place while the store is closed - the same is probably true of all of the other shops by the ground.

I wonder if this means that the owners of the parking area will accept that there is no point in policing it during the game or whether they'll see it as an opportunity to make a few easy quid for themselves?

Is there a gate on the ASDA car park - or is that the one down cardiff bay ?

All you do is pop into the casino and get a receipt for something - and you'd have your alibi anyway

Isn't the petrol station 24h? I'm sure there's no gate.

The car park will be open but I wouldn't risk parking there.

Yes, you're right I think - it was such a sunny day that I was thinking it kicked off at something like 2 or 3 o clock, but it was 5 wasn't it.

Can't recall seeing a gate there and I think they took the gate down at the Bay store after a bloke was killed by it a few years back.

You've got a two hour parking window (unless of course you use the casino and give them your car reg when entering, assuming the casino is open.) I was thinking of parking up about five to six and all being well leaving before five to eight, should be doable.

Aren't the parking arrangements monitored by an independent company such as that running Tesco in Western Avenue?

The casino told me once you register it's covers the whole time of the season.
