I almost enjoyed that first half.

    Terrible pitch.

Bruno and Fabio playing very well.

Ameobi running into blind alleys and Whitts getting caught in possession - so something for the traditionalists.

S4C commentators having lots of fun with Manga and Mangan!

Macheda showing the 'good, the bad and the ugly'

What else can we do but at least be keen for them to succeed?

It really isn't as bad as people are making out, it's no worse than any cup tie we've played against lower league opposition in the last 10 years.

It is not 'The Team' (2nd team)'s fault that they are apparently not as good as a team from 12 years ago (and maybe many before / since) .
Tonight is supposed to be a shop-window I suspect.

To be fair to tamas Moore had all the time in the world to come and catch that cross

Re: Cardiff v Shrewsbury. FA Cup matchday thread

LOL.. at least it wasn't in the 95th minute.

Re: Cardiff v Shrewsbury. FA Cup matchday thread

Up to this point the "chances" we've created in this second half have been limited to speculative shots by defenders from 25-30 yards out, which haven't tested their 'keeper.

The crosses into the box are aimless, and with the lack of movement in and around the box are never going to work.

One decent cross by Shrewsbury and they lead. It's painful viewing. This team should be capable of creating several decent chances against a very weak lower league opponent - but they aren't.

    Oh Macheda.

Re: Cardiff v Shrewsbury. FA Cup matchday thread

How can anyone on here defend this performance? Shrewsbury lost 7-1 last weekend, we don't even look like scoring.

As I'm writing, Macheda is one on one with the keeper and hits it straight at him, brilliant

Machada couldn't hit a cows ass with a shovel.
