How can we trust Slade's judgement re. Bringing in new players this window? He wasted enough money on nonentities and no hopers yet some say he's done a good job?????!? The Ameobi situation is a prime example, whatever portion of his salary we're paying is much too much. He didn't play for a while, while we sorted out his asthma medication, Slade has admitted this yet he seemed to think we had done a marvellous thing in achieving this. Jesus, we were obviously paying him while this was going on, he should have been sent back as is always the case with an unfit loanee. Fact of the matter is we have wasted money and time on this useless streak of paralysed piss and he's not even our player.
I dread to think how much more he's wasted on blokes who are 'good around the changing room' as he's said, blokes who are shit at football though. Any daft bugger could have pruned the old squad by being given the money to square off contracts but it needed a decent, knowledgeable manager to replace those paid off, Slade isn't that man.
