    Chris Burke to Rotherham

I hope it's not a case of the returning player always scores.

Can anyone else get misty eyed and nostalgic about a favourite City side, simply using acronyms?

    Re: Chris Burke to Rotherham

On his day he was pacey, tricky and dangerous. Quite thrilling on occasion tbf.
I doubt he is still the danger that he once could be, but then again .. if I was a betting man ..

    BBC in recent years.
Would've preferred to have actually signed Routledge though before Burke.

My favourite trio of all time though was the infamous SDG (Stant, Dale, Griffith).

When fully fit Burke was class for us. Seemed a bit injury prone though. One of the better wingers I've seen in 25 years down the city

I think teams have to register new players by 12pm the day before a game - it's not unlikely that, that's happened.

Yup. The longstanding phrase: 'straight into the team for Saturday'.

    Re: Chris Burke to Rotherham

When I saw Burke in the line up I wasn't at all worried he would score against us. He had as much end product for Rotherham as he did when he played for us.
