He has signed to the end of the season on loan.
No indication of the size of the loan fee or wages - so impossible to know if Cardiff could have competed under the embargo, but probably not.

I don't know why it is just a loan deal when the reports say a fee has been agreed to turn the loan into a permanent move in the summer.
Maybe Blackburn aren't totally convinced about him and want to see how a loan goes before committing?
I am not convinced about him.Originally Posted by ragbone wrote on Fri, 29 January 2016 17:09

Blimey I agree with youOriginally Posted by BLUETIT wrote on Fri, 29 January 2016 18:54
Flattered to deceive ( what a lovely saying) Wasn't fit, worked hard at first but is he the type of player who drifts into a comfort zone once established? (Not that he's hung around anywhere to actually get established) I reckon we dodged a bullet, hope I'm correct.
There's a press 'report' below that says Blackburn have agreed a £1.7m fee for a permanent transfer in the summer - and this is the same figure Cardiff allegedly agreed last November to sign Tony Watt in this window.

It may even be true.
Same up front fee (well, £1.6m according to ***** - below) we are supposed to be getting for Mason - with the rest coming for appearances, promotions etc.

He was quite good in the role it's just we have been so shit in that department in recent years he looked a word beater.
Wasn't Watt reckoned to be a disruptive influence in the dressing room? Thought he was OK - but just, OK.Originally Posted by jon1959 wrote on Fri, 29 January 2016 21:45
The team was a lot better to watch with him in but not much end product.
He missed a few but got himself in the right positions. Looked like a young player with a lot of potential to me. And in a team that seems to make all its forward players look shite I thought he looked a decent player.
Think we need to move on from all aspects Jones , Mason , Watt, Fondre , Macheda .Originally Posted by jon1959 wrote on Fri, 29 January 2016 21:45
