Thread: Bristol citys no 9 Tomlin

    Bristol citys no 9 Tomlin

Not very often an opposition player catches my eye.
Unusual to see a no 9 playing in the midfield, the guy was awesome though, involved in anything good they did .
He is on loan from Bournemouth at the moment, if he plays anything like that every week would be a great asset to our team.

He was a very good player at Peterboro - bit fat - but very good player.

Yeah a wee bit chunky. I could live with that the way he passes the ball about.

He reminds me of Jon Parkin who I liked but who didn't get a fair crack of the whip with us for some reason (will always remember his wonder goal v Norwich away however).

Similar can be said for Dean Windass. I wonder if there are any other seemingly overweight players who have caught your eye over the years?

What did Tomlin do to get a 'dissent' yellow after the half time whistle?

Continued arguing about the penalty that wasn't awarded apparently

Cant argue with his dedication either then! Overall, he's too good for Brizzle. ;-)
