    The Night Manager

The penultimate episode has just started on BBC1.

We have been watching that, we have 3 on the go at the moment (which is unusual for us) the other two are Thirteen on bbc2 and The Lucky man on sky1, both worth a watch if you haven't seen them.

Even John whittingale thinks it's good and he seems to want to dismantle the bbc

I'm not a fan of the bbc either but that's because of their news reporting mainly, not the quality of their other programmes.

I'm not sure you'd find the alternative any more palatable

    Re: The Night Manager

Brilliant program from the BBC. Their most expensive project to date, due to the cost of the different locations and the amount of stellar names they've got in it. Can't wait for next week! Apparently even though there isn't a second book, due to 8 million viewers tuning in each week, they are already penciling in a second series...

Best series I have seen for a while, wouldn't want them to commission a second however, quit when your ahead and all that.

Good serialisation of the book but please BBC no silly second series.

What's remarkable is how menacing Hugh Laurie is in this role, he's come a long way from playing the piano and doing a funny trumpet noise on a bit of fry and Laurie

Dr House in America toughened him up innit.

The young blonde lady is quite appealing, isn't she?

My favourite all time televison character is Mr House, always been a massive fan of Laurie since I binge watched the entire box-set. Never seen any of his earlier work not old enough thankfully.

Any good ? Just finished the 4th season of the American one last night, took me 3 Months to get through the first series couldn't get into it, then it clicked and watched the next 3 seasons within 1 month.

British one is really quality and worked better for me but I suppose I'm more au fait with the way British politics works.

We are British and not Americans. I wish Sky and Netflix would remember that. We don't do 'seasons'. We do 'series'.

A season is winter or spring. A season is not the next fecking series of House of fecking Cards.
