Serious Question, back when i was in school a girlfriend of mine was a year below me in school, but for about 5 weeks between our birthdays, i was 17 and she was 15, now if she had cried out to the police could I have been looking at a sexual conviction and prison ?

So Radovan Karadzic has got 40 years for genocide, including the murder of 8000 men and boys. Is Adam Johnson's crime really deserving of 6 years on that basis? Seems a bit steep to me.

This guy got 12 years for multiple rapes of little girls:

Thats the problem here id say, 15 yr olds have sex with 16 yr olds all the time, i was shagging girls older than me wen i was 15. There should be a rule maybe that if your over 20 you cannot have sex with a 15 yr old maybe?

I think a lot of people will be able to relate to that situation from their schooldays.
So long as it wasn't against anybody's will, I doubt the law would want to get heavy, though they might put the frighteners on.

The minimum sentence is four years so six years isn't harsh given the circumstances.

by all accounts according to his appeal page on facebook, he was sent a joke e.mail that included bestiality, he did not search for it

His appeals facebook page is rather funny, it claims the girl knew what she was doing and he has been stitched " right up "
