Surprisingly, we have not lost any of our last 10 games against Burnley. Hopefully that run will continue as we cannot,in my opinion, afford any more losses if play offs are to be achieved. Mind you, I still think we are a few points short of where we need to be, thanks to giving away silly points to lesser clubs this season.
Anyway, I hope we can steal a draw, don't care how we do it!

Back down to earth with a bump 3-0 Burnley.
They have the best home record in the division. Even better than Middlesbrough's record, and we got spanked when we went up there in the middle of a good run.
They can play really effective football in a couple of different styles, which i think could be our undoing as I'm not sure we cope very well when the opposition shake things up.

Burnley haven't been scoring much lately. IN Jan they were scoring 3,4,5 goals. Only getting 1 or 2 lately. So I can see a draw atleast, but will go for a win 2-1 to City.

I was at that game and IMO we did not get spanked. We made three mistakes which cost us goals. The score line flattered Boro. We held our own and it was not a performance that disappointed me or many of those that went up there.Originally Posted by Rjk

After many years following City away I think this is going to happen
We will play them off the park and win by at least 2 goals.
We produce results like the one we need tonight often when not expected.
That's why we are going up.
It's the game at Craven Cottage that concerns me.
Just off to the airport.
Love to see us get a result. But I would be happy with a draw. Slade needs to get someone to get into Barton's face. Might work if we rough them up a bit, and not worry to much about playing nice football. Some times you got to get stuck in and break up their play. We can then look to score from set pieces.

2-0 Burnley, but four wins from our remaining games could well see us make the Play Offs even if we do lose tonight.

That wouldn't be a disaster as long as Hull turn over Derby.
Not a disaster anyway if we don't get top 6 - I'm happy with an entertaining and competitive team that just misses out, but is building for next season.
