City overlooked as managers and PFA pick best players

No Cardiff player chosen by the other managers in the top 15 of Championship players this season.

Former City striker Ross McCormack, now at Fulham, was chosen as second best player in the division with Brentford's Alan Judge third.

The rest of the players in the 15 are all from top six clubs with Burnley's Andre Grey the number one choice.

Also revealed is the Championship team of the season as voted by the PFA. No surprise that no City players feature in that either. The PFA reveal comes nearly a week ahead of the ceremonial evening next Sunday but after details were leaked today the PFA announced the winning teams already.

The top 15 players voted by club managers are:

The PFA Championship team of the season is:

Tom Heaton (Burnley); Bruno Saltor (Brighton), Daniel Ayala/Michael Dawson (Middlesbrough/Hull), Will Keane (Burnley), George Friend (Middlesbrough); Adam Clayton (Middlesbrough), Alan Judge (Brentford), Joey Barton (Burnley), Barry Bannan (Sheff Wed); Andre Gray (Burnley), Ross McCormack (Fulham).

The only surprise is that you're surprised.
No City player deserves to be included this season.

I'm guessing that Ameobi is on the bench, willing and ready for his cameo few minutes (as per his contract)

Thought our Bruno might have caught someone's eye, Ayala has been out of the Boro side until very recently.

I actually think Connolly has been our best, and most consistent defender this season.

Not one Derby thug in the 15 either, no suprise there then

If will Hughes hadn't been injured all season he may have had a shout.
Thorne must have been close though

You would think we would have at least 11 players in the top 15 with the players Slade inherited. Warburton or Bellamy would have walked this division with our squad.

Let's face it. We have been very "overlookable" this season
