Thread: Glenn Loovens makes it to Wembley again

Glenn Loovens makes it to Wembley again

Scored for us in the 2008 FA Cup Final which was controversially ruled out. Didn't see Wednesday beating Brighton on overall league form but their head to head suggested their win.

There has been some incredible appetite, football, skill, teamwork, energy and resilience already in the Play Offs so far. Hate to say it, but we look a mile off Brighton, Wednesday and Hull so far.

    \didn't think it was controversial.
Ball hit his arm and fell to him, ref had little choice but to disallow it.

It would have been extremely controversial if it hadn't have been ruled out.

Other than leading with his arm and using it to control the ball it was a perfectly good goal.

I thought it was disallowed for a foul on David James.
Bloody big lettuce leaf he is.

Discounting the whys and wherefores of Loovens 100% legal goal, I still blame Dave Moans for starting a broken JFH instead of Ramsey. JFH landing on his arse again, and whinging to the ref whilst play went on led directly to their goal (IIRC - sure I watched it back years ago and saw this )

In the few minutes Ramsey had on the pitch, he showed more guile than the rest of the side put together.

I also blame Enkleman for the pass to Kanu, and also Parry for his tame effort early doors.

But I mainly blame Dave Moans.

I mainly blame Enkleman. Dave Jones second.

However, mostly I blame Kenny ****ing Miller for not scoring against Liverpool right at the end.

A tale of two finals. No wonder Slade's reign was like watching paint dry on Slow - mo.

    If only Ramsey had started!

Regarding the OP. Yes, well done Glenn. I wonder how he'll get there - probably private jet with Paul Parry.

If only Ramsey had started we'd have been on the end of a cricket score!
