Yep - just to make them feel better
Also I can imagine soon that they will demand that they can retire at 60!!!!
Except one is a mental health issue while the other is just someone wanting bigger tits (which you can get done on the NHS if it's affecting your wellbeing).
I don't know anything about being transphobic and it's clear neither do the majority of people commenting on this thread with comments like yours.

people have breast augmentation for mental health reasons, not just vanity. i was approaching it from that angle and not why should transgender people not have to pay for it themselves.
I've always wanted a 12" cock,can I get the nhs to chop a few inches off ?
Without wanting to be inflammatory, it's affected my life. Happy to say it's been resolved from my end but can't say the same for the fella's wife and kids.
Anyway, crack on with your "right on" left viewpoint of this. I'll be happy to be silent from here. (Which is often mistaken as an ignorant bigot)
I haven't called anyone an ignorant bigot for a start. My view is that we should let live as long as it doesn't harm anyone else. If someone wants the NHS to pay for their operation but are doing it for fame or to show off then they should pay for it themselves. It is my view that some people are from a very early age genuinely very unhappy and uncomfortable in their bodies and go through hell. In the those circumstances I don't see why they can't have the OP under the NHS.
