Driving to France at half term ? Some advice.

Strikers blockading oil refineries across the whole country now.

Massive queues at petrol pumps , fill up before you go and
only go if you have enough fuel to get to your destination is
    AA advice.

I wonder how long it will last.

It depends where you are going. If its eurodisney for example that is around 200 miles from Calais and depending on the car that might be possible on a full tank. Failing that it would be possible to nip over the border into Belgium which is unaffected as far as I know. Of course if you are travelling down the west coast that is a different matter.

we drove a Pug 107 last year ( infact my facebook memory shows us eating a domino tonight 1 year ago ) we filled up in Dover just before the Ferry ( the BP station on the roundabout ) and we drove to Eurodisney and back to the ferry and filled up at the same roundabout on the way home we didnt use the car once we got to the disneyland hotel though as we got the train into Paris

so if thats what you are upto , it can be done, in a 107

Some train workers joining in now as well as the power station workers apparently.

The joke about President Hollande in France at the moment is " He would do a u - turn to end the strike but he doesn't
    have enough petrol ".
