My favourite City player bar none - maybe an element of rose coloured specs in some of the memories I have of him, but only to a limited degree because he could do things with the ball that none of his team mates in what was a good City side could manage.

I'm sure he would have played for Scotland if he had been playing now.

RIP Ian Gibson, another great has left us. He only had 2 full seasons with u, but what an impression he left if only we could sign someone like him now. Played in that great 70/71 side that I am sure will long in the memory of all city fans who saw them.
