Benitez going to stay at Newcastle

I wonder if they will look to keep a Premier League squad as well and look to romp the division like they did last time.

    Championship line up 2016 / 17

One from Hull or Sheff Weds
    One from Millwall or Barnsley
    Aston Villa
    Birmingham City
    Blackburn Rovers
    Brentford
    Brighton
    Bristol City
    Burton Albion
    Cardiff City
    Derby County
    Fulham
    Huddersfield Town
    Ipswich Town
    Leeds United
    Newcastle Utd
    Norwich City
    Nottingham Forest
    Preston North End
    Queens Park Rangers
    Reading
    Rotherham United
    Wigan Athletic
    Wolverhampton Wanderers

That's disappointing to hear Benitez staying. He will be a good coup for them in convincing their more talented players to stay.

But if Newcastle have a poor start to the season the pressure on them will be enormous.

Given that so many championship clubs have calculated that blowing millions on gambling for promotion is a risk worth taking, I imagine that Newcastle will be indulging in the same kind of risk for next season by keeping players on Premier League salaries.

Because of their turnover I think they can do that , and stay within FPP , its whether the same players who could not get up for a Premiership game can be bothered to motivate themselves for wintry Tuesday nights at Burton and Cardiff , the last time they came down they had a strong British type hardened players , not so sure if they have that Nolan type character in the team this time around, you cant play pretty ticky tacky football in the Championship ??

The expectation level up there is going to be horrendous.
Why do it get the feeling it'll all end in tears.
Villa will have money to spend and Norwich are trying to keep their squad together, plus one or 2 decent sides left down.

If they don t finish top 2 then I can see them blowing the play offs

I got a feeling Newcastle will do like they did last time they were in the Championship and basically walk it! I think Villa will find it hard, they need a decent manager and a total over haul of the squad.
