Driving around France for the Euros

All I can say is GOOD LUCK.

There are fuel delivery strikes there that are escalating and in typical French style they won't get resolved. At there moment you can buy only 20 Euros worth of petrol per visit to a forecourt and the queues are awful.
No Jerry cans can be used either.

Funny you can and they do use the term Jerrycans still.

Sadly I see the trains are now getting dragged in to this so that's my transport fecked too.

anyone reading this that thinks this issue will get resolved quickly does not understand the French mentality.

I work with a pair of brothers called Jeremy and William Cann. I am not sure if their parents realised that they would be called Billy Cann and Jerry Cann.

Hmmm, that was my backup idea. Considering leaving the car and getting train. Thats that idea scraped then.

You will be OK in Northern France as you can buy fuel in Belgium. Western France will be a problem though.
