    Hoddle

    Wales = Australia + Bale.

    Fair?

    Re: Hoddle

Not really no. Our starting !ine up will have as much top flight experience as England. As usual though English pundits big up their own team and as usual they will be heading for a fall.

Hoddle is one of if not the best pundits in the game.
    Very insightful.

Not fair at all. Despite the contrasting styles of play, I think Australia would take a number of Wales players if they had the option.

I do like Hoddle and have never understood why he hasn't returned to management he had England playing great football in 98 and is tactically very astute too.
All the pundits are guilty of going overboard on the second coming that is Rashford mind. He's definetly on a roll and one for the future but he's still very raw imo

If they hadn't sacked him for non football reasons they could very well have won a major tournament with the so called golden generation.

They would I expect have gone closer without a doubt but he left them with no option either.

Excellent manager but nice and nuts

I think he was implying it's good for England to be playing a plucky, shit team as preparation for Wales.

I have a few wolves supporting mates and he was terrible there despite spending millions, the guy was great at England but was well past it not long after.

I actually think he speaks complete bollocks more often than not these days. When Steve Evans etc are still getting jobs ask yourself why past managers like noddles aren't.

To be fair even Phil Brown has managed that

    Re: Hoddle

Russell Slade has had two promotions in recent years. One from manager of Orient to Cardiff City and another to an unspecified "upstairs role" within Cardiff City football club.

Here's a little history lesson for Tandy -

Between 1970 and 1996 Chelsea finished in the top half of the top division on 7 occasions. During that period they spent more time in the 2nd tier, even being close to relegation to the third tier in 1982/3. In fact, apart from consistent top half finishes in the 60s, Chelsea have never been one of the big teams in English football until the late 90s.
