Someone on here was always pushing for City to go after this guy a few years back and I'd lost track of him until his reappearance for the Icelandic national side and Euro '16.
Not sure he's made the grade - 53 in 65 appearances for Heerenveen in Holland before a move to Real Sociedad in 2014 for 7.5 million Euros (4 in 27) - but then last season was loaned out to firstly Olympiacos (2 in 13) and then Augsburg (7 in 15).
27 years old, what happened at Sociedad? Did he just fail to make it?
