BBC has its faults , but as a broadcaster, it covers some areas peerlessly.
Sporting occasions being one of them.

BBC all day / all night long.

Tony Pulis or Robbie Savage? Pulis offered far more than Savage does in about half the words.

I sad after the Russia game that Pulis was, IMHO, the best expert commentator I've seen.
Ok I may be a bit biased, but he managed to combine his bivouac desire for Wales to win, with his expert insights which really helped me enjoy the game more. I'm hardly the master tactician you see,
But if our Tone isn't on, then I prefer the Beeb.

I prefer the BBC commentators but prefer Pulis, Bellamy and Hughes to Savage, Hartson and Saunders. Pulis has been an excellent co-commentator offering good insight into the games he's worked.

I notice that BBC have nicked the BT Sport formula of having two co-commentators.

Makes for a more interesting experience.

Crikey... You are all so lucky. Try being in Africa and being subjected to DSTV coverage which includes John Barnes. He was much better on lucozade.

Me too, very impressed with the classy opening credits that ITV have put together, especially considering the usual contrived tripe they produce for their other shows. I'm sure they all use the same guy who listlessly shits out tunes and animations over a weekend for £50.
