    Nicola Sturgeon

What a contrast between Sturgeon in her statement to the Scottish parliament and the big hitters of Westminster.

She is clear, decisive, inclusive, gives leadership and direction, and sets out a plan and a work programme (that started on Friday morning and was planned before). Very, very impressive.

Meanwhile in London (with the possible exception of the Mayor's Office) there is no leadership, no vision, no plan, no direction, no clue. The only difference between the Tory government and the England football team is that the latter had an effective opposition.

Right now, I wish Sturgeon was the leader of a (new?) National UK Party - ideally one with integrity and close to the centre ground but with people-centric ideals.

ah well, We'll have to make do...
