Why did we have to wear them last night when Portugal played in green?
They were explaining on 5live that the home team, Portugal couldn't wear their usual burgundy because apparently it clashed with our charcoal. But then we couldn't wear our red kit because we were not listed as the 'home team' so therefore ended up with two teams playing in their away kits.Originally Posted by Llanedeyrnblue

This is pretty pathetic though isn't it. With Russia being good enough to agree to us playing in red and white (it's no coincidence that we wore those colours in 1958 as well), we could and should have played in that kit in every match - with that decision about stopping kids going on the pitch after the match as well, it's not been a good few days for UEFA.
