    If it had of been 16 qualifiers we would have had to gone thru' a play off as the 4th best runner up.

    The 13 automatic qualifiers would have been:
    France, Czech, Belgium, Spain, Germany, England, N.Ireland, Austria, Italy, Portugal, Slovakia, Poland & Switzerland.

    The 6 play off teams would have been:
    Iceland, Wales, Rumania, Russia, Croatia & Albania

    (no doubt we'd have drawn Croatia !)
