IF this is true, it suggests the cull is still in full throttle. We have certainly not strengthened the squad adequately to lose him, in fact I dont see its strengthened at all !

Think we must have someone lined up to replace him i.e. David Cotterill or George Williams?

I can't see anything now on SSN or the Sky Sports website.

It's a very odd 'report' though. I've never seen one before for a club 'offering' one of their contracted players to another club like that.

Pilks was one of our better players last season - even in an unfamiliar role - and also one of the most committed on the pitch. Unless his wages are stellar (who knows.... and how much is left on his contract?) I would have thought he was a major part of Trollope's team for next season.

The presenter gave the info. It was linked to a QPR bit after they had said they sold Matt Phillips to Watford.

The presenter DID say we HAD offered him to them. Whether there's truth in it is another matter.

    This would be very disappointing.

He's one of our better players and in a well-managed decent team would be excellent.

That's why he has to leave.
