ARM sold to Japanese company

4th (and biggest) major takeover of a British company from overseas since Brexit caused the pound to tumble.

Some people are clearly going to make some major money out of it.

Unfortunately the more of our companies that are owned overseas, the more money gets syphoned off overseas, and the trade defecit becomes more and more of a problem.

I think the ARM board cocked up here. Although sold for a premium on recent share price. Doesnt take into account the growth of this company and the fall in sterling.

With so much tech using their business this is a great buy for the japanese company.

Alway wished I purchased some share in this co, but always thought the share price wouldn't go much further. Mega success story. Shame its gone.
